Experiences

Within the Fall '23 semester, myself, along with my team were given the opportunity to devise an extensive marketing campaign for the Broad Museum in downtown LA. As one of the lead Creative Strategists on this account, my role comprised of:
  • Analyzing brand association of current client, the Broad Museum, amongst the Gen Z audience and researching key statistics, museum visitor behavior, and experiential marketing trends
  • Conceptualizing unique brand identities and marketing activations that encourage brand promotion in all forms of media (digital, social, traditional, etc.), as well as interactive
  • Presenting research decks to a panel of marketing professionals for the purpose of fine-tuning campaign; in addition to the museum board at the Broad Museum and engaging in strategy talks of how to begin campaign activation
Through Paragon One, I had the ability to work as an extern for AT&T in their sponsorship with the Dallas Cowboys. In this experience, I helped propose ways to bring appealing, high-speed experiential marketing activations to AT&T Stadium that would emphasize the power of AT&T's 5G connectivity. The goal of this externship was to have these activations draw in the wider Gen Z audience.
Some of my responsibilities included:
  • Conducting research into previous AT&T sponsorships and competitor experiential activations to find current trends in sponsorship dealings, interactive marketing campaigns, and Gen Z social media behavior
  • Designing probable campaign strategies & tactics AT&T could utilize to engage the Gen Z audience, call attention to the values of AT&
  • Producing research decks that infused AT&T's objectives, mission, and future visions into specific suggestions for possible sponsorship activations and present to a board of AT&T marketing officials
In my role as PR Chair for USC's Black Student Assembly, I lead a small team comprised of a videographer, graphic designer, and web developer in generating fun and culturally relevant social media/web content for Black students on campus and ensuring that Black students always feel welcome attending BSA events. With this, I formulate cool ways to integrate current trends, Black history, and an overall dedication toward reminding Black students of their important place at USC to uplift the collective spirits of our Black Trojans! Some more of what I have done include:
  • Creating a monthly event series called "The Black Chat" where I compile a list of pop culture, social, and political talking points from the past month into an engaging presentation to start important conversations within our community
  • Crafting weekly Instagram posts that invite Black students to attend BSA meetings & events; foster digital relationships with other Black orgs on campus to repost and advertise other non-BSA events happening within the Black USC community
